Northampton UNI Projects

This was an extra course called Visual Communication (previously called Graphic Communication) in collaboration with Northampton University, SintLucas and Cibap. The course included various assignments which were also graphic design/promotion contests, a dissertation about anything in the creative field and development of your portfolio.

Final Major Project - De Vreemde Vogel

Translated to "Strange Bird" from Dutch, my FMP is about children dealing with loneliness, a subject which really speaks to me.

Hellmann's D&AD Ad

This assignment was part of a contest as well as a promotion campaign, I chose Hellmann's and addressed food waste. One thing I notice in environmental commercials that could drive people away from them is how preachy some of them can be. Some campaigns especially rely on shock in order to get their message across. And although what is shown is the truth, it's the oversaturation of shock which will mostly create apathy from the target audience. My goal was to activate the audience and by making it more relatable to them, especially addressing how much money you can save by preventing food waste.

Book Cover - A Brief History of Time

This was for a contest held by Penguin Books UK where people would choose from a list of books in order to design their own book cover as an interpretation.

SCENT - Just Soap Advertisement

This was a 1 week assignment to kick off the Northampton BA course and served as a pressure cooker. In this assignment, we formed groups and grabbed a box containing something with a strong scent. And after smelling the box, we'd create a brand based off it.
